The types of cases we represent - relief for asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, and victims of violence - are extremely complex and take years to complete.  Because of their length and expense, our work starts where many other legal aid organizations ends.

JFON is a faith-driven ministry that is recognized for providing effective, justice-oriented resources and high-quality legal services for low-income immigrants. Through our work with the immigrant community, participating volunteers help to transform our culture’s understanding of, and sensitivity to, immigrant issues. Participation in the Lawrence – Lowell JFON Clinic provides volunteers from our church the opportunity to express their faith through hospitality and compassion.  Monthly clinics are held at the Centralville United Methodist Church in Lowell and the Christ United Methodist Church in Lawrence.
