Save the Date, Sunday, August 10, 2025! - Come One - Come All to West Chelmsford United Methodist Church! Bring your pets to be blessed - Big and Small! Fur, Feathers, Scales, or Fins. All are Welcome! This service will be held in-person in the church backyard. Unfortunately, we cannot livestream this service.
In conjunction with the Blessing of the Animals worship service on Sunday, August 10, 2025, we are gathering pet food and linens (blankets, sheets, towels) for the Lowell Humane Society’s Pantry. The Lowell Humane Society believes in maintaining the bond between people and pets for the life of the pet. One of the ways they help fulfill this commitment is by providing pet food and linens, free of charge, to those in need. If you are able, donations of all types of non-perishable pet food, in sealed packages, and linens will be collected from now until the Blessing of the Animals event. Donation Collection Boxes(food, linens, money donations) will be available at the event as well as in the Education Building lobby and Vestry, beginning July 6th. All types of non-perishable dog and cat food, including wet and dry options, as well as bird and small animal food, are welcome.
