Music Ministry

There is room in all of the choirs for new people to join us!

The Senior Choir meets on Thursday from 7:30-9:15 pm.  Singers in all voice parts will be most welcome – especially altos!  Rehearsals are held in the Choir Room.

The Festival Ringers meet on Wednesday from 7:30-9:00 pm.  There is one opening in this group currently.  Some previous ringing experience would be helpful.  Rehearsals are held in the Sanctuary.

The Celebration Ringers – grades 6-12 - meet on Sunday from 11:00 am -12:00 pm.  There is room for more ringers in this group.  Rehearsals are held in the Sanctuary.

The Celebration Singers – grades 6-12 - meet on Sunday from 12:00-12:30 pm.  We always welcome more voices!  Rehearsals are held in the Sanctuary.

The Carol Choir and Joy Ringers – grades K-5 – meet on Thursday from 6:30-7:25 pm.  We can accommodate any number of children in this program.  Rehearsals are held in the Sanctuary

The Occasional Ringers formed in 2013 as an outgrowth of the Community Learning Day class on handbells.  They have no particular schedule for rehearsing or ringing – but we will continue to get together “occasionally” and play when ready.  There is room for one or two more people who would like to learn handbell ringing

from the beginning.

If you are interested in more information about any one of these choirs, please contact Karen E. Leonard, Minister of Music at 978-256-8404 or music@wcumc.us.  If you are planning to join any choir as a new member, please let Karen know you are coming BEFORE the first rehearsal so the appropriate materials are ready for you when you come.
